About the event
Gain an overview of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), its role in Parkinson’s disease management, and its potential effects on speech and swallowing. The session will be led by Sister Li Wei, an Advanced Practice Nurse specialising in Movement Disorders at the National Neuroscience Institute, who is actively involved in caring for patients with Parkinson’s disease, including those undergoing DBS.
