ST Week 2024

ST Week will take place from November 4 to 8, 2024. To bring the week to a memorable close, SALTS warmly invites all Speech Therapists to a celebratory event on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 6 to 8pm.

Cost: Free for SALTS members, $5 for non-members

We'll be screening two short films on autism and aphasia, and have invited a panel of a Speech Therapist, person with autism, and their family member for a cosy fireside chat thereafter. 

Dinner will be provided, as well as door gifts and other freebies!

Speech Therapy Week celebrates and promotes the profession of Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) and their roles in providing swallowing and communication support to the wider community.

Our theme for this year is “Celebrating Differences”. We recognise and celebrate differences in communication modes and feeding styles amongst our very diverse community and aim to foster a sense of belonging for every individual.

As clinicians, we also come from a range of backgrounds and practice within very diverse settings. By respecting and valuing everyone’s unique strengths and ways of being, we hope to promote success for all.
