Letter from the President 2025

Dear SALTS members,

This past year has been an exciting year for all of us at SALTS!

SALTS has successfully

• Reached out to more local and regional affiliations and networks, such as The Asian Dysphagia Society, Healthcare Services Employee Union,

• Restarted Special Interest Groups,

• Continued outreach to students through SpeechieBites,

• Hosted Speech Therapy Week and MDTP Training.

In addition, we have four honorary advisors with outstanding contributions in our field to provide consult to the SALTS committee.

Our goal for this new year is to deepen the relationships with local and regional affiliations and networks and increase partnerships for professional development and member benefits. We also aim to build community through clinical and professional networking events.
