Dear SALTS members,
It is my great privilege to serve you as the SALTS President this year! I joined SALTS end of 2020 as a General Committee member and moved on to Vice President (Strategy) at the end of the following year. With a decade of service as a Speech Therapist, I desire to give back to the profession and to build a strong community of Speech Therapists to support each other. I believe SALTS can be an effective platform to serve this purpose with active participation.
The SALTS committee has been diligently planning for SIGs, Speechbites (student) events and other networking opportunities this year! We have recently updated our website for easier access to information for Speech Therapists, students and the general public. I would encourage you to check our website and even bookmark it!
One of the membership benefits I would like to highlight is that as a member of SALTS, you are also a member of Asia Pacific Society of Speech, Language and Hearing (APSSLH). We have connected with various partners such as MedBridge to bring to you Professional Education Programmes at a discounted rate.
My hope for 2024 is that every member could take advantage of the privileges as a member of SALTS and see you at one of our events soon!
